The wife of a Wisconsin man who died during a routine endoscopy after he allegedly was given excessive doses of the sedatives fentanyl and midazolam has filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against the clinic that performed the procedure. Travis Disch died in 2013 from a brain injury caused by lack of oxygen after he was given allegedly fatal doses of fentanyl and midazolam during an upper endoscopy at the St. Mary’s and Dean Outpatient Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
